Apollo Youth Club 50th Birthday
Reading Windrush Alliance was pleased to participate in and support the Apollo Youth Club 50th birthday celebrations on 28 August. The event was well attended with several stalls and displays of Black cultural, educational and social activities.
Reading Windrush Alliance had a stall promoting the Windrush Documentation and Compensation Schemes to help people who have arrived in the UK before 1989 to obtain the correct documentation to live and work here without the fear of deportation.
