SVGA Donations Over The Years
SVGA Reading donates £2000 to SVG volcano relief fund
SVGA Reading has signed an agreement with the Lions Club of Kingstown-SVG to be their partner in SVG to receive a donation of £1725.00 GBP (EC$6400.00) to provide relief for people affected by the recent eruptions of the La Soufriere volcano in SVG.
The money will be used to purchase and distribute school supplies including school uniforms to 70-100 students on the Leeward side of SVG; as well as care packages to underprivileged mothers in the RED zone, catering to both mothers and babies. Care packages would include baby diapers, wipes, and food items such as baby formula.
SVGA Reading has already spent £275 purchasing a jet washer with integrated generator to help with the clean-up operation in SVG, and has also collaborated with the National Council of SVGA UK to collect and ship large quantities of food and products to assist the victims of the volcanic eruptions.

Donation To Volcano Relief Programme
SVGA Reading promoted and contributed to the GoFundMe initiative which raised over £260,000 for the volcano relief programme. Our contribution was part of this cheque for EC$330,000 which was donated to the programme.
SVGA Reading organised a virtual Coo-Along to raise funds for the volcano relief programme. Over 20 participants from across the UK cooked along with Chef Kevin Muhammad, using Winfresh marinades and sauces (which are made in SVG) to spice up their dishes.
