Student survey
SURVEY ON WHETHER BLACK SECONDARY SCHOOLS STUDENTS IN READING HAVE ACCESS TO COMPUTERS AND SUPPORT AT HOME FOR ONLINE LEARNING
We want to ensure that all Black* students attending schools in the Reading area have access and parental support to good quality IT facilities at home, to enable them to study during lockdown. This is particularly important this year because the GCSE, A level, and BTEC grades will be awarded by teacher assessments. Based on the responses, we propose to raise the matter with Reading Borough Council and persuade them to provide additional support to both students and their parents/guardians if need is identified.
*Black includes Black British, Black Caribbean, Black African, any other Black background, mixed White and Black Caribbean/African, mixed Asian and Black Caribbean/African, or any student that identifies themselves as Black.
Please help us to help these students by completing the short survey and return it to us at the address below by 19 February 2021.
